Matthew Chan currently serves as President for two media businesses: Ascend Beyond Publishing and Tempest Broadcasting Network.  In publishing, Matthew is the author of several business books and business audio programs. They include “The TurnKey Publisher” Series, “The TurnKey Investor” Series, and “The Intrepid Way”. As publisher, Matthew has worked with and published other business authors. He is also the writer and lead commentator for “The TurnKey Publishing Blog”.

In broadcasting, Matthew is the Executive Producer for Tempest Broadcasting Network, a web-based media network specializing in video publishing, video marketing, and video syndication for businesses. As Executive Producer, Matthew works closely with business experts and business owners to create, syndicate, host, and broadcast their own unique branded educational shows throughout the Internet.

In addition to his media business interests, Matthew is a seasoned real estate investor and continues to oversee the property management of his and his investment partners’ real estate investment properties.

Because of his extensive technical skills with computers, Internet, and other technologies, Matthew integrates and incorporates those skills into every business venture he works and consults on. Matthew synthesizes that expertise into “Web Domination Strategies” that organically move unknown and obscure businesses to high Internet presence and search engine profiles. Matthew has successfully consulted and highly positioned widely-varied businesses such as real estate rentals, book publishing, law firm, non-profit, investor group, online community, mobile home sales/rentals, and hair styling.

Matthew enjoys teaching and empowering others whether it is through his articles, books, audios, videos, online shows, workshops, or personal consultation.  He is an advocate of building customer trust through ongoing credibility-building and education.

Matthew’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Central Florida, and a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University. Born and raised in Florida, he is currently based in Columbus, Georgia.

Oscar Michelen attended New York Law School and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1985. He graduated magna cum laude, finishing in the top 5% of his class. He served as an editor on the New York Law School Law Review.

Upon graduation, he was hired as a trial attorney at the Corporation Counsel’s Office. He was quickly promoted to Senior Trial Attorney in the Manhattan Trial unit and supervised and trained a number of other attorneys while continuing to try the more serious cases. In 1987, he was promoted to the position of Senior Trial Specialist in the Special Litigation Unit. He held that position until 1990 when he joined the law firm of Sandback & Birnbaum. He became a partner in 1995 and the firm became Sandback, Birnbaum & Michelen.

In 2010, after 20 years of a successful practice at that firm, Mr. Michelen joined the firm of Cuomo LLC as Managing Attorney of a newly-established Long Island Office. At Cuomo LLC, Mr. Michelen brings his significant trial experience and record of success to develop several practice areas that are flourishing and continuing to grow. He recently founded an entertainment law practice that resulted from several high-profile clients coming to him for their litigation needs. He is also often retained on serious, newsworthy criminal defense cases.

As an off-shoot of  his entertainment and intellectual property practice, Mr. Michelen has become an important source for representation and guidance in the field of digital imagery litigation. Many businesses, small and large, that have been besieged with claim letters and lawsuits  from digital photo catalog giants like Getty Images, Corbis and Masterfile have turned to Mr. Michelen for defense of those claims.  He has represented companies in these claims all across the country.

Mr. Michelen is also often sought out for appearances on television and in print media discussing a variety of legal topics. He has been retained as an expert witness in litigation discussing various issues of  law. He is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, where he teaches Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy.

Mr. Michelen is the founder of The Law Squad, a not-for profit organization that presents informational seminars to high school teens and their parents on various legal issues. He hosts a television program of the same name that airs on Public Television on Long Island.

Ray Williams

Ray Williams brings over 30 years of leadership experience as a CEO, HR Executive and management consultant.  He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies and advanced training in English, Social History and Organizational Psychology and has served in a wide variety of senior executive roles in both public and private organizations.

Ray currently is President of Ray Williams Associates, a company in Vancouver that provides executive coaching and leadership training services, and Co-Founder of Success IQ University, a company based in Phoenix, Arizona providing training and development services to the corporate sector.

Ray is the recipient of the Master Educator Award from the American Society of Education Executives, and is an immediate past president of the International Coaching Federation in Vancouver, B.C. He is a Certified Management Consultant, a Certified Master NLP Coach and Trainer and Certified Hypnotherapist.

He writes regular columns for the Financial Post, Psychology Today, Fast Company and Salon, and has been a guest columnist for Forbes, Fortune, U.S. Today and The Wall Street Journal.  He has been seen and heard on the CBC broadcast radio and television network, NBC Today, The Vicki Gabareau Show, CFUN and CISLE Radio, and The Good LIfe Radio Show.

Ray is an active member of the Vancouver Board of Trade, and various community organizations. He has written a book on leadership, The Leadership Edge, and a novel, Dragon Tamer and published over 200 articles on leadership, organizational and behavioral change and workplace issues. Ray is a platform speaker, and trainer in demand throughout North America.  He is also known as one of Canada’s top CEO Coaches.

Wes Weaver

Wes Weaver is a lead contributor of “The TurnKey Investor” series of books and audio programs.

With a state-approved work permit in hand at age 15, Wes had an early start in building his character, maturity, and discipline, working for different businesses throughout high school and college.  Working his way up, Wes, at 21, became one of the youngest commissioned salesperson in the food distribution industry.  Having achieved annual sales of over $1.3 million for his employer, Wes left the corporate world at the age of 24 to become a full-time real estate investor.

Through his property management firm, Wes invests in, co-owns, and co-manages several dozen real estate properties for himself and his investment partners.  Today, Wes is a real estate broker with his own agency that assists others in purchasing property for their own portfolio.

Seeking ongoing growth and education, Wes often travels and networks with entrepreneurs and investors outside of area to bring fresh perspectives into his business.  Through his contacts in the U.S., he continues to expand his knowledge base which he applies to his business.
